Create Membership Onboarding #15

Goal 1 is to Build regional and local capacity to empower sustainable communities. One of the objectives under goal 1 is:

Develop an Onboarding for Member Organisations that empowers them to build community locally and connect globally, including reports and recommendations for building local capacity for training and community; guidance for establishing an equitable, inclusive, and accessible culture of learning; and information on getting involved in the global Carpentries community.

This issue tracks progress towards the Membership Onboarding.

We now have a membership onboarding packet that is sent to new members with information about how to use their benefits. We have piloted a more involved membership onboarding for the 5 seed IMLS members which includes face-to-face meetings with the ED (link to slide deck). We haven't yet expanded this onboarding to include all new members, so we will continue this item into Q2 and track progress in #48.
