This still does not seem to work quite as expected. For example, if I am on the about page (preview), and click around the various items in the sidebar menu, the section within that page that it goes to is correct, but that item is not always styled with the arrow in the sidebar menu.

Are there other styling options that would have the same intent/impact (being able to navigate to that section of the page and having that item in the sidebar menu "highlighted") that may be easier to implement?

This may be something you are working on, so just leaving a note here. The TOC heading now shows the selected item in parentheses. We do not want to see that - the heading should always say "Table of Contents" only.
