@libcce thanks for your interest in regional hosting, check out the details here please. We'd love to see you sign up. Best
Thanks @ousodaniel for the pointer! Since we want to do this across 3 time zones, I think the plan was for @kmhettne, @ragamouf and I to host. Is it possible to modify the proposal slightly? I have half day but I believe we want to do this across one day? We have a call coming up to organize but wanted to ask in advance (also where we will be talking about hosting). Thanks again!
Hi @libcce, do you mean the three of you were to each host a session in the different timezones? The hosting intended here was for session wrangling, which might not necessarily be when either of you is presenting. I am not sure I understand the modification bit right, but you may continue to develop your proposal further...
@libcce @kmhettne @ragamouf would you be interested in joining #23 to compliment your sprint?
Hi @libcce, the organising committee reviewed this session proposal and had this to say:
This sprint is speaking to a core Carpentries principle; developing resources to teach comp skills to researchers. Chris Erdmann led a lot of the work around this when he was Library Carpentry Community Lead in 2018 and 2019 - great to see continuity in the discussions through this sprint!
Really excited for your session, and more details i.e. around scheduling will be shared with you in the coming days. Let me know if I can answer any questions or clarify anything for the time being.
Thanks @serahrono for sharing the feedback!
Thanks for the suggestion @brownsarahm. After speaking with @kmhettne we'd like to focus on the lesson sprint and we are still discussing how to structure the sprint.
