Error installing on Server 2008 with IIS 7 #33

Hi, when trying to install the latest version it fails. The error in the 
log is below

sitemap_win-beta1-20090225.msi 

Product: Google Sitemap Generator (Beta) -- Error 1722. There is a problem 
with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup 
did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package 
vendor.  Action _934BC930_0055_40FB_B1EB_D5F499E91208, location: 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Sitemap Generator\SitemapService.exe, 
command: set_permission

You need to install using the Administrator account and not an account with 
administrator privileges.

I am doing the installation with the administrator account
Using terminal server connection as console (mstsc -console)

But i still get this above error and these:

Faulting application SitemapService.exe, version 1.0.0.0, faulting module
SitemapService.exe, version 1.0.0.0, fault address 0x00009145.

Reporting queued error: faulting application SitemapService.exe, version 
1.0.0.0,
faulting module SitemapService.exe, version 1.0.0.0, fault address 0x00009145.

Product: Google Sitemap Generator (Beta) -- Error 1304. Error writing to file:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Google Sitemap
Generator\Admin Console.url.  Verify that you have access to that directory.

Hi, I installed the Google Sitemap generator in IIS7 and the websites start 
crashing and showing error in the browser "service not available" so I 
uninstalled the sitemap generator and everything is back to normal.

I am having the same problem as rogomez@gmail.com

server 2008 R2 running IIS 7. When the package is installed, all sites give a 
503 "service not available" for all sites on the server.

Same problem here on windows web server 2008 r2. any ideas on this one?

I had the same problem and was unable to uninstall it. I had to manually remove 
all the files and registry entries. Then I had to edit my IIS appconfig to 
remove the lines the installer had inserted. I think this program is 
incompatible with a 64bit processor.
