Hello,

Was wondering if you guys use Skrollr, hence why you created Skrilla, for client projects at Carrot? Trying to be a dev intern at Carrot this summer and would love to learn more about how you guys approach developing websites.

@thekennysong nice to make your acquaintance! this is a totally awesome way to introduce yourself to us (by taking an interest in our OSS). @joshrowley can you give you skinny on Skrollr, since it's his brain-child.

thekennysong commented 9 years ago

@joshrowley would love to talk about Skrollr and parallax websites in general. In addition, would like to talk about things I should focus on so I could potentially intern for you guys. My email is kennyson@usc.edu.

Cheers

and @kylemac thanks for the referral!

@thekennysong I just invited you to a Slack channel with the rest of our dev team. Feel free to hang out in there and ask any questions you want!

Hey @thekennysong, great chatting with you yesterday. Here are a couple examples of sites we've built with skrollr and skrilla:

http://www.nature.org/ourinitiatives/regions/africa/elephants/index.htm

http://lordandtaylorfirstlook.com/

The Elephants site was built with roots while the Lord and Taylor site was built with Rails.

If you have any questions about skrollr / parallax, definitely reach out. I look forward to hearing more from you as the summer approaches.

Will definitely hear more from me. Also, please let me know when you guys start interviewing for summer interns!

Cheers,

Kenny
