gflags related build issue #663

Hi,

I tried to install cartographer_ros as described in the installation instructions, but I get the following error when I run catkin_make:

Looks like the gflags library cannot be found, but apt says:

libgflags-dev is already the newest version (2.1.2-3).

What am I doing wrong?

For a build error, consider adding some details as you see fit:

  1. locate gflags.h => located in /usr/include/gflags

Please try adding #include "gflags/gflags.h" to offline_node.cc If this works, I'd be interested why it was ever working. (Maybe through a transitive include?)

Yes, this has been my work around. For this file as well as for offline_node_main.cpp

I was there making the same thing but I could not find the transitive include. Dennis
