Describe the problem/challenge you have We want to ensure that Carvel creates an inclusive environment by removing harmful language from code and software documentation to promote a diverse community.

Describe the solution you'd like As a part of the CNCF, we want to follow the Inclusive Naming Initiative's (INI) guidance.

Additionally, to ensure that harmful language does not enter our project we would like to have an automated process.

[x] determine which inclusive naming word list to use (INI, VMware, or other)
[x] for one repo, run a manual, inclusive naming check with a tool
- [x] make any low-risk changes (e.g. docs)
- [x] create an issue for any higher-risk changes (e.g. code)
[x] for one repo, automate the inclusive naming check with a tool for PRs
[x] repeat the above steps for all repos

As an update, we have decided on the following inclusive naming guidance:

Carvel will follow INI’s guidance
Cluster Essentials will follow VMware’s guidance (as much as possible considering Carvel)
