What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download 
http://code.google.com/p/google-checkout-dotnet-sample-code/downloads/detail?nam
e=GCheckoutV2.5.0.10.zip&can=2&q=
2. Add GCheckout.dll as a reference to a project
3. Attempt to build the project in Release mode.  You will get an error 

Solution: recompile the GCheckout project in Release mode, and upload those 
files.

How is a debug assembly causing a compile error?

Hey Joseph, hope you are well.  I don't remember the exact error, but it 
definitely occurred. If you Google "building in release mode dll debug" you 
will see many people describing the problem for other DLLs.

Site and nuget are updated with .14 in release mode.
