Cool. Thanks for adding the test. Looks as though TEST_REQUIRES is missing Carp::Always. Added.

Have you seen my other pull requests?

I'm (slowly) fixing some other incompatibilities, but once the existing PRs are merged, I'm fine with an initial release.
