I've actually been wanting to add this for a while but never got around to it. I'll shoot to include it in 0.11 or 0.12 if possible.
Alright, would be awesome to see it in 0.11, as chests get in the way at certain times. (Like, in a narrow corridor the chest might just get away, allowing a player to get stuck in a certain location/hide in a certain location).
I'd also like to ask if you have any idea of when you plan to do 0.11. I'd gladly donate to accelerate development/work on this plugin to version 0.11 (including this improvement).
I don't have a solid estimate rn unfortunately, but my best guess is sometime in September. Donations are ofc always appreciated, but I've been a bit busy with other projects lately so I'm not sure how much time I can spend developing TTT during July and August.
Oh, I see. Based on the 0.11 milestone here on GitHub it didn't seem like it would take a lot of time, but I can't judge that. I was hoping early August.
There's a lot of additional under-the-hood improvements I'd like to make and TTT is somewhat low-priority for me right now for the time being, which is why I expect 0.11 to take so long. I've also learned to try not to make optimistic estimates since I've found there's a decent chance they'll fall through, and I don't want to disappoint anyone. ;)
Utilizing minecraft bodies/skins that are tilted sideways: http://i.imgur.com/ozTCWZT.png - would be awesome, to replace the current chest. A hologram would appear above it saying "unknown body" (Or when you look at the body from a certain distance, a actionbar message appears saying "unkown body, click to inspect". and then when opening it, instead of opening a chest menu the size of 3 rows, it would open up a hopper menu: https://i.gyazo.com/5b0b68e803d21e338771222d15cbdc56.gif (really nice gif example of what I imply).
