Is this project abandoned? How can we help? :) #849

Just looking to help and wondering what the best way to go about doing that is :)

It's completely fine if the answer is "yes, I don't have time".

Are you still accepting PRs/conducting reviews? Seeking active maintainers? Interested in transitioning ownership/control/publish or would a fork be better?

Since as far as I know no one took the opportunity. We will fork it with our company and start to maintain it and look into the open pull requests..

Will provide a link when all is setup correct. If someone else started it or the owner has any issues with it ( we will always make sure it's known he is the original author). Please let me know!

@breakerh I forked this library over at @hello-pangea/color-picker and will be working on updating dependencies and migrating to TypeScript.

We're two developers currently maintaining a fork of another popular unmaintained library, react-beautiful-dnd. I would love to work together if you're interested 👍

@Xhale1 I would love to participate! We've already made a little start. I will check if we can merge it with yours. I also know react-beautiful-dnd, awesome repo.. Good for keeping it up to date!

I will try to make a PR on color-picker tomorrow. Sorry if it will take a little longer.. It's quite busy atm

@breakerh that's awesome that you know react-beautiful-dnd, another dev and I are super excited to continue its development.

I just released version 3.0.0 of pangea color picker which converts the codebase to TypeScript, amongst other improvements. I would absolutely love to have you on board with helping to maintain the lib, the more the merrier 😄
