About all the modifications bumping the version number: I assume/hope that such is a mechanical process as opposed to manual effort?

The process certainly feels mechanical. But, alas, it still feels worth handling by hand rather than by writing and testing code. The scope of what needs to be edited stops with the end of the owl:Ontology definition.

All of the manual revisions are reviewed as part of CI, knowing that they're manual and will eventually encounter a whoopsie. This was part of the plan and implementation for UCO Issue 437.
