@plbt5 We have had some longstanding confusion on how to use the Role concepts. I have some thoughts on how to explore roles further using a projection into PROV-O (esp. with the prov:Delegation qualified relationship), but haven't written up the implications yet because they would need reconciling with some of our examples (esp. Oresteia).
The investigator note you raised does seem a little off. I could see a way to dance around it, like "Coordinating an investigation" silently encompasses "carrying the investigation out." In any case, the reviewers all decided the definition sufficed as-is.
