1 month ago Yes. As laniak stated it's probably just the wrong pip that gets executed, you can use which pip as part of your recipe to know which is being invoked.
If you use python you should probably use a virtual env and this tip from the doc can help you with this setup

1 month ago Thanks for the feedback. I am running version just 1.25.2 & the result of which pip goes to the path managed by homebrew, i.e., /opt/homebrew/bin/pip. After activating the local python enviroment, the path goes to the local pip. Either version triggers the error message below:
