First, let me congratulate you on your excellent app.

I used Beersmith and this is in no way inferior, the only thing I miss is the predicted color in beersmith, so I thought on suggesting that.

Is it possible to do something similar with a predicted color more real than the actual?

@Greenjampt appreciate the kind feedback.

Currently, the app will attempt to estimate a color on the main recipe list screen. However, I agree this is just an approximation and not especially accurate.

As it is, I'm not currently actively developing this project right now, but I will leave this issue open in case anyone has a good idea on how to make this better.
