This has been implemented as a facet for on-letter places. Exact functionality needs to be defined? I.e. Should there be a list of clickable links, rather than, or in addition to, the facets on the home page? A full list of places as a faceted search is going to be too long, so a list of places is probably desired. If so, should there another link in the top toolbar to 'Places'?
