Hi,

I am having problem emerging fingerprint-gui-0.14. The source got compiled without problem, but the process fails in installation phase:

I updated the repo, please have a test. Thanks.

Hi,

thanks for the quick fix, the installation now works fine. One more comment: it would be probably more "proper" to rename "libpam_fingerprint-gui.so" to "pam_fingerprint-gui.so" - it seems like other pam libraries follow this pattern (and this name is also used in Install-step-by-step.pdf that comes with the package).

Thanks. Jiri Horky

Hi Jiri, thanks for pointing this out, it was indeed a quick&dirty fix. I took a look at the pam eclass and found a new function 'newpammod', which seems can meet your needs. Now the package should be able to build as expected. Please re-test and let me know if other issues exist.

Thanks, Caspar

Hi,

thanks for the fix, everything is just fine now :-) (besides proftpd's PAM authentization refuses to work when pam_fingerprint-gui.so is enabled in pam-auth.conf but it is more an upstream problem).
