Build a Useful, Accurate, and Secure Oracle for Casper Game Development

Prize Bounty

Intermediate Tier 71500 CSPR (\~$5000) for 1st place. 35750 CSPR (\~$2500) for runner up.

Challenge Description

Create an oracle that game developers can implement to reliably and securely query data from outside the Casper Network. Examples are verifiable random number generators and keeper bots. Think of data relevant to game functionality.

Submission Requirements

Create a public GitHub repository for your project, then submit it using the Gitcoin UI.
Create a design document or a README file.
Project must be live on the Casper Testnet or Mainnet.
Find a way to explain your design and implementation. You can design a detailed written document with screenshots, or record a video. You can upload your document or the video here or on a platform of your choice.
Use the following naming convention for your file:
- Teamname_Title_Serial_YearMonthDate.*
- Example: dAppsRUs_DAO_001_20220415.*
Add technical documentation and unit tests as appropriate.
Please include a document outlining more features or enhancements to your project that could be implemented in the future.
All bounty submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM EST on April 15th 2022.

Judging Criteria

Utility - Your oracle must be useful to game developers on Casper. It must solve a problem that was previously unsolved in the Casper ecosystem.
Usability - Your oracle should be as easy as possible for developers to integrate into their games. Documentation is a plus.
Accuracy - Your oracle must be accurate, especially over long periods of time.
Security - Your oracle must be secure. Vulnerabilities should be mitigated as much as possible before submission.
Decentralization - The more decentralized your oracle the better. Eliminate single points of failure as much as possible.

Winner Announcement Date

Ready Player Casper will commence on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, at 05:00 AM UTC.
All projects must be submitted by April 15th, 2022, at 11:59 PM UTC.
The project judging will take two weeks, and prizes will be dispersed by April 30th, 2022.

Prize Payment Method

Prizes will be dispersed in CSPR, Casper Network's native token. For this you'll need to create a Casper account, which can be done easily within the Casper Signer.
When you submit your work, you should provide your CSPR address, NOT your Ethereum address.
If you are restricted from receiving CSPR in your area, The Casper Association will transfer your reward in USDT (ERC-20).
