@mcorah , can you please share your docker file?
I will be out of Pittsburgh for RACER this week, so will try my best to load in point clouds by next Monday.
@rebeccacm / @mcorah , once I have instructions to how to load in pointclouds, can someone take over the task of transforming it to correct gps coordinates?

@hocherie I've pushed what I have. Instructions are in the dockerfile in the docker directory of mf_ws

@andrewjong: We were planning for @hocherie to work on loading the premapped environment into the simulator, but she is not going to have time. Would you be able work with her to complete that task?

still only works natively in Ubuntu 18.04. If you want to use a different version (e.g. 20.04), you may want to work on my docker installation as well or use a different system.

This Octomap produced from the above pointcloud takes about 20 seconds to load on my desktop. It is a 3m x 3m resolution.
@hocherie We haven't discussed this task in a while. Are you still planning to implement pointcloud loading? Has your understanding of this issue changed or developed?
