@castequality/owners Take a look at the site and let me know all of the things that you think are left to fix.

• [x] Project page should pan left to right
• [x] Caste logo should link to blog
• [x] Left Hand Photo Feed from Caste Photo blog
• [x] Lightbox should be able to scroll/pan/keystroke through photos
• [x] Pull /about page from tumblr title and description
• [x] Banner should link directly to Project Video/payload
• [x] store/insta div should be fixed vertically (scrolling down makes it move with the scroll)
• [x] project.html blocks header and logo
• [x] project.html still shows up wrong in Firefox
• [x] BigCartel thumb should indicate that it is a link to the store
• [x] instagram thumb should indicate that it is a link to our insta
• [ ] services should cache results so that the page loads quicker initially
• [ ] IE compatible logo
• [ ] IE compatibility (carousel, anything with a directive) from here and here

  Please try to keep these minimal and totally necessary!

I would like to stay focussed as our deadline is approaching.

Overall it's super sick.

Cast logo I think should link back to homepage.

I think the lightbox arrows need to change. The buttons don't fit how good/consistant the art direction of the site is right now. What you think of having previous/next, not overlaying the photos in say the bottom right corner?

For BigCartel thumb... Perhaps (not urgent) we can either so it rotates photos when someone is on the site? .. OR I could make an animated gif for that... That needs to be one of the most eye catching places, as in the end there's a lot of product that has to move. LMK what works best. @patheid I also don't want it to look like some web banner ad & F up the whole feel, what you think?

Ok I'm just gonna make a list of things we need to get dialed, mixed with solutions to some of the stuff above.

• in firefox the pages aren't able to scroll at all with my mouse... when i hit space bar it moves down, but in jumps... also, the project page is all jacked.

in safari, we're still lookin like this...

on my phone, is it possible to have a little buffer strip on the right side of the page? 20px? (non-urgent)

-i figured out how to post videos in text posts, so we can have a title/text to post with videos solid. this posts the video to the width of the blog column as well... there seems to be a white buffer frame around the photos in posts... like you can see they're not aligned to the width of the text... ? Can we fix that and make the photos show up as wide as the column?

• Main Blog visual adjustments: I need the Title of each post to show up in Gill Sans, Regular at font size 17. I need the date of each post to be courier new, regular not bold, and 30% black. All the body type for each post needs to go down to size 13 and be 50% black. Sorry this is tedious, but it will lighten everything up, put more emphasis on the photos, and make the separation of posts more visible. should be solid with those adjustments...
• Big Cartel thumbnail: see below... should maybe just be a rollover that says "shop" or something... the photo gets dim and the text rolls out. this way it won't look like a flash banner @zandert and more like a button, which will be big enough to notice some action when you might roll over by accident or upon curiosity. heres a simple example... maybe the same thing for insta?

-left photo feed. so right now it seems like we have the castequality tumblr linking to the project photos/video, and mulhern/zanders is linked to the left photo feed. I think we should have the projects page full from a separate tumblr, casteproject... I'll set that up tomorrow and get some of the dummy images we have up now at size on the new one. Then we can start posting some select "caste" specific images to the castequality tumblr and make the switch...

-project navigation arrows: Yea i think it might be more aesthetitcally smooth if we just have small arrows underneath the photos on the left and right side... Maybe its just these symbols... < > - in courier new, bold, 30% black.

I think on top of all this shit, and the stuff you mentioned above, we'll be pretty much there. hyped on how its coming... Sorry if it seams like its a lot...

@castequality/owners Everyone, we're getting closer to the release date. I need you all to check the site.

First and foremost, could you guys start to fill the tumblr with real stuff? Also, where is the blog that will populate the left hand feed? I need someone to add a project whose last slide is a video, so I can work through the projects stuff.

Yo Sean @seanpdoyle ,

I need the About page to look like this... Font size is 14. upper text is 50% black, "Caste Quality." is Bold/black.... Please adjust the text to have the same line lengths (IE, make the same words end each line like in my mockup, even the "expand- ing"... THANKS. Main blog looks way better now BTW thanks...

Project page is still showing up crazy in firefox, and its all jacked up in Safari.

I just created a new tumblr for the project section to pull from... casteproject.tumblr.com / Password is the same as the rest. Im not sure how to add video within a photo post, so I made two posts after the two test photos... The first video is at 888x500, second is at 1280x720. Not sure which size it needs to be to play on the project page properly. Let me know if you can make this work, even. / The casteqaulity tumblr should now be directed to the left hand photo pull on the homepage. Right now its just dummy stuff.

@chrismulhern @chrisfireoved @zandert - can you guys meet and select some more "caste-specific" "professional" photos to start adding to the castequality.tumblr??? Just get up like 5-10 if possible.

Zanders sending me the lookbook photos. Will post them to the casteproject.tumblr when ready....

We still need the caste logo to send back to homepage at all times, and let me know if we can make that shop rollover button happen.

@castequality/owners Hey everyone, I think the site is more or less ready for release. It just needs the filler content swapped out for real content. Look at the README for instructions on how to add content.

@patheid I was having trouble centering the rollovers, and without a background, they get lost in darker images. To quickfix that, I just tried to make them look like the stockist cards.
