[BUG] Cannot Log in using email OR Spotify Username #155

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...' Config - > add account
  2. Click on '....' username, password, enter in Info then click add account or log in.
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. app should log me in, and it start downloading all my library

Also having the same issue!

OS: [e.g. iOS, Windows 11] MacOS OnTheSpot Version: [e.g. 0.4] 0.5 Additional context I tried creating a new email/password login as suggested in this thread, but the same error occurred with those details too.

this version refuses to open at all for me (on Mac, version 11.7.10). Is it broadly compatible or does it rely on a specific operating system?

To be honest I don't own a mac, the dmg there is made and tested in an x86 ventura virtual machine. If you have an m1/m2 mac or an older operating system it may not work.

Another user on high sierra followed step 1.2 here and got it to work fine, you could also follow the build instructions and make a dmg for yourself.

If you have a m1/m2 mac and would like to help me bundle an arm compatible package, or just need help following the steps listed, open an issue on my repo.

Now im able to login but it doesnt download! just fails.

same here, it worked a few weeks ago and now suddenly error on the added account, but when I removed the account and added it again it showed the same error as julerobb1 Can anybody help with that, please?
