item_location lost its target during save/load cycle when dropping clothes

Describe the bug

game crashes when i drop too much clothes on one tile

Steps To Reproduce

drop a lot of clothing on one tile

Expected behavior

for it not to crash

Additional context

the crash only happens once per character, as when i went back to the world and re did it, it didnt give me a crash. Also i did this with the clothes i wore, not just in my inventory.

Might be a case of #1140, though it's hard to say for sure without a save
