Our current text reads:

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire, but a body hast thou perfected for me; whole burnt offering and that for sins thou didst not seek.

The translations that refer to "body" (as opposed to "ears") seem to prefer the word "prepared". And this would more closely align with Hebrew's quotation of this passage.

I propose we change the word perfected to prepared.

Brenton's:

Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not; but a body hast thou prepared me: whole-burnt-offering and sacrifice for sin thou didst not require.

OSB:

Sacrifice and offering You did not will; But a body You prepared for me; A whole burnt offering and a sin offering You did not require.

Hebrews 10:5-6 (KJV):

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

I favor "perfected" here to keep in line with the Greek. Note, that Breton's translation is more of a gloss - he only created it with the intent to provide assistance to his Greek manuscripts, rather than making it a robust, stand-alone translation.
