Two email sent

Hello there,

Here at Liip, we have a client who is not too pleased that their users are receiving two separate emails when signing up with Email notification and iCalendar Appointment. After a bit a research, we fell on this forum answer, which explains that MS Outlook behaviour forced your hand to send two emails.

We were thinking of adding an option to disable that second email if MS Outlook isn't used. But before we start anything, we were wondering if this is something you already plan on implementing. If not, would be something that would be accepted for merge in your main branch.

that seems....mad... surely that's how it should have been implemented in the first place (allowing the admin to decide if 1 email or this 2 email behaviour should be used...)

We don't have anyone here working on this - in fact we have hardly anyone here using F2F in Moodle vanilla these days and with Moodle workplace implementing it's own similar activity based on F2F and the other LMS that has this plugin embedded we don't get much time to work on this particular plugin - feel free to submit a PR that allows you to turn that behaviour off and I'd be happy to merge it!!
