Allow subcourse to show grades from hidden courses if teacher chooses with a tick box setting.... #57

Hi David: I did more digging around and saw that this was an issue you had addressed, and apparently your latest version is to help teachers who want to keep hidden subcourses and grades hidden from students...makes sense!

However, if you could create a tick box in the settings that would allow teachers to also be able to show hidden grades from hidden courses, then it would enable teachers to leverage the subcourse plugin as a way to link together many courses into a "main" or "master" course as the portal / launchpad into learning! It only requires a change in student roles to be able to see hidden courses if a teacher wants them to be able to access their hidden subcourses (plus, teachers can still "hide" their courses if they want to prevent student access by disabling the enrollment method students use to get into the class!).

I currently use subcourse to organize my classes into units, where each unit is it's own subcourse, and the "main course" is just a portal where each section is linked to a subscourse--that way I can build lots of resources for my students, while still keeping things organized and easy to find, and also allowing students to track their progress on individual units!

Kind of like using "stealth" resources and activities in Moodle, subcourse helps teachers do the same thing pretty much but without having to make everything a stealth activity and also keeps large courses with lots of assignments manageable since subcourse helps to aggregate all the data into the "main course"!

I downgraded to the previous version, and everything works as before with hidden courses having their grades passed to the main course, but perhaps moving forwards maybe can this setting be added in to allow teachers to either have hidden courses have their grades not passed or passed through?

Thanks for all your help in the past, and also sharing your great work with the Moodle community!!
