Debounce input so as to not make an overwhelming number of requests

Decided IRL that this isn't worth it.

Maybe we can discuss this in our next meeting... it's super annoying to navigate quickly, which is a rather common action (going back to check consistency, etc). Not sure how hard it is though, so yeah it might not be worth it
