Hi Sharlyn,
That text actually comes from the confirmation options in the wufoo settings, not from expunge.io. More info here: http://help.wufoo.com/articles/en_US/SurveyMonkeyArticleType/Form-Settings
Can you try to change it in the wufoo form settings, and then test again?
Like try to link it in my Wufoo forms?
yep - go to the confirmation options, and then in the text box, enter something like 'The next step is to get your arrest information - get started now! http://www.expunge.io/step2'
or, if the confirmation options can take HTML, try 'The next step is to get your arrest information - click here to get started now!'
Thanks, Cathy! So, apparently redirects to websites are only available for paid Wufoo users so I can't make it send users directly to step 2. But, I did change the language so that after submitting a form, the user sees the message below. They also will receive an email with identical language.
"Thank you for submitting your information to LAF Chicago and the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk!
Don't wait for us to call you--you can get started right away by getting your arrest history (rap sheet!). Instructions on how to do that are here: http://www.expunge.io/step2.
Once you have your rap sheet or arrest record, you can come into the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk for free help filling out your forms: https://www.facebook.com/JuvenileExpungementHelpDesk.
Please call the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk at 312-229-6359 with any questions!"
OK, now we need people to move from step 2 to step 3--coming into the help desk!
Can you just put a link in big font at the bottom of the Step 2 page that is a link to the step 3 page and says something like "Get help filling out my court forms!" or whatever you think captures step 3?
ok, added!
Hi Cathy! So in prepping for the outreach and increased use of Expunge.io, I know we talked about moving people directly from submitting their forms into step 2 instructions on getting arrest information. I tested the form submission now and just saw the page that says "Great! Thanks for filling out my form!". Can we have it instead load the step 2 instructions (http://www.expunge.io/step2) only maybe with a headline like "get started now!" at the top of the page? I think to be effective and getting people to take action and not wait for a response, this page needs to immediately follow the form submission.
