What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.created a model and added a text aspect
2.opened share (community out of the box) and tried to add the created ascpect
but could not find the aspect
3.Is there a step i am missing?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expect to be able to add the created aspect to a document

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
alfresco 4.0.c on linux

Please provide any additional information below.

If you want the created aspect to display on Alfresco's forms you need to use
the traditional method of exposing that by using
alfresco/web-extension/share-config-custom.xml

Here is a link on how to expose that:
http://blogs.alfresco.com/wp/wabson/2010/02/25/adding-custom-aspect-support-in-a
lfresco-share/

You already have a model defined, just jump to the section that talks about
share-config-custom.

Hope this helps.
