Let me explain further, mainly when browsing remote folders locally, the plugin cannot take effect. But theoretically, I installed the plugin locally, and the remote icon displayed locally should also change.

I don't have a remote environment to test this, can you give a clear step by step guide to reproduce this?

Step1: I just use the Browse Remote Host CleanShot 2024-06-06 at 11 19 02@2x

Step2: Then on the right of the Pycharm sidebar, we can browse files on the remote server. CleanShot 2024-06-06 at 11 21 11@2x

Step3: After I connect the remote sever via ssh, we can see the file icons, but it does not change when I install the Catppuccin Icons (1.4.0) Plugin. It worked in my local IDE. But it was not avaliable in the Browse Remote Host (The pic was shown before).

I'll need to look at how Icons are loaded in that context, I don't have a lot of time rn, but I'll try to figure that out as fast as possible

After I connect the remote sever, the icon just like this in the right sidebar. CleanShot 2024-06-07 at 11 16 58@2x
