System Information

Additional context
When I set a wallpaper, it first plays it normally, but after some time it gets stuck, I've tried changing the pause option and others, but it doesn't solve the issue.

  1. Install Plasma Add-Ons (if not installed):

    • Open a terminal.
    • Use the following command to install the kdeplasma-addons package:

      sudo pacman -S kdeplasma-addons

This package contains additional Plasma widgets and wallpapers, including the "Video Wallpaper" feature.

  2. Restart Plasma Shell:

    • After installing the kdeplasma-addons package, you may need to restart the Plasma shell for the changes to take effect. You can do this by running the following commands in the terminal:

      kquitapp5 plasmashell
      plasmashell
  3. Configure Video Wallpaper:

    • Once you have installed kdeplasma-addons and restarted the Plasma shell, right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Desktop."
    • Under the "Wallpaper Type" section, you should now see the "Video Wallpaper" option. Select it.
    • You can then choose the video file you want to use as your wallpaper and configure other settings as needed.

If you still don't see the "Video Wallpaper" option after following these steps, it's possible that the feature may not be available in your specific version of KDE Plasma or that there are compatibility issues with your graphics drivers.
