TorChat says im offline #123

when i open torchat it wont connect to myself saying im online even though im 
on and avaibale

i woudl expect it woudl always be cpnnected to myself. i just updated my 
torchat and it quit working as it was fine before i updated. 

im using windows 7 64 bit. and torchat version 0.9.9.553 (svn: r553) 

when i say updated i mean i followed teh instructions on the torchat directorys 
page on hwo to update torchat.

I was also wondering why it takes Torchat.py so long to discover that I'm online. It seems it's sending a PING to itself through the Tor network, which never arrives.

Any idea why this is?
