I'm running Consent-O-Matic v1.0.12 on Chrome version 118.0.5993.70 on MacOS Sonoma 14.0. I visited the Monitor Audio site (specifically https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/soundbars/) dozens of tabs opened for Monitor Audio's privacy policy (https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/privacy/).
It appears that Consent-O-Matic identified the 'accept' and 'more details' options for the cookie settings, and selected 'more details'. 'More details' is a link to the privacy policy page, and that page shows the same cookies message at the bottom of the page, and so Consent-O-Matic again chose the 'more details' option, opening another new tab with a new cookies message, and got stuck in an infinite loop. I disabled Consent-O-Matic and the tabs stopped opening.
Possibly relevant (but probably not): I opened the Monitor Audio website as a friend walked into the room, and closed the lid of my laptop to chat with him. I didn't notice the issue of tabs opening before I closed the laptop, but it was immediately apparent when I opened my laptop a couple of hours later. It may just be that the website hadn't loaded until I re-opened my laptop.
