This repo seems pretty old but the code looks to be pretty solid. I have some changes I'd like to make (making stream compatible for example), is it being actively maintained or should I just fork?

@taterbase Thank you for taking the time and contributing. This repo is current and actively maintained is just that I haven't had anything to update yet, we currently use it in production a lot at our company and we haven't really had much improvements for it.

Sure any contribution are welcome ;-)
