I'm not sure, is it possible to integrate a patch into the chromeos kernel?
I think I'll use a factory (default) kernel for octopus chromebooks. Expect a fix to be out by tomorrow.
On second thought, factory kernels forbid audio from working. I suspect this problem has to do with my kernel configuration.
I saw some of your latest commit was changing flags on what looked like touchpad devices. Would that happen to be your current fix?
Yeah, I was just enabling random options related to synaptic, PS/2, and i2c touchpads. Plug in the Breath USB and try running bash updatekernel.sh
again.

Prepped a microsd card with Ubuntu 20.04 and Gnome. On boot, trackpad does not work. I needed to plug in an external mouse. Using
lshw
andxinput
, Ubuntu does not even see my trackpad. I tried installing Synaptics just in case, but that didn't work either. I'd love some help, thanks.
