Hello, I can only speak for myself but I'm on 3.1 (I was on 3.0 before that) and I can boot DC games using the Flycast core in RetroArch on the RG35XX H. I tried Capcom VS SNK and specifically Cannon Spike, since you mentioned it, and both run flawlessly. Maybe reflashing may help?
Thanks for taking the reply!
I tried reflashing and it still doesn't work unfortunately. Thought maybe the unbranded card which comes with the device might be faulty, so I even used a SanDisk one this time. Also tried updating my 28XX which I hadn't done before and the same problem happens. Do you own a 35XX H device also? What brand of memory card do you use?
Luckily I did find the .img from the 2.6 version in another laptop, so at least I can go back to playing these games until the issue is solved in future versions.

Sorry for the delay! I don't own a 28, just the 35H and the SP so I can only attest for these two.
Hello, thank you so much for the attention!
I first apologize since I'm not aware if this is due to Anbernic's stock firmware itself or if this issue arose from the modifications, but Dreamcast games are only working through the standalone Flycast emulator, which is not ideal since it doesn't have HDMI out implementation and for some reason even though it has all the system resources to itself it will run worse than under RA, even light games like Cannon Spike end up lagging in it, whereas I never had issues with the RA core, performance was excellent and seamlessly integrated with RA for multiplayer or HDMI out for example
After updating to the latest modified firmware (20241023 v3.1), games will simply not run anymore, RA brings up the Dreamcast BIOS and it claims there is no disc inserted, and I haven't been able to find a solution for that. I tried using the disc swap function from RA itself, also using different formats (.chd, .cue, . gdi, .cdi, etc.) and regional versions of games, nothing works. So far I have not found similar issues with other systems at least, whether CD based or cartridge based. PSX games still both with the rearmed and swanstation cores in several formats, I have tested both .chd and .bin files
I was on 20240706 v2.6 previously (based on 240626 1.1.4, the first version to implement 64-bit support) and everything worked flawlessly, even though it lacked the Yabasanshiro and Flycast standalones, all the other systems were excellent. I would like to go back to it while the issue with RA doesn't get fixed but unfortunately I see they are not on Mega anymore, where I downloaded it from the first time, and I no longer have the .img in my drive either. Do you still have it? If it is not too inconvenient, would you kindly host them somewhere else even if temporarily?
Also, I own an RG35XX 2024 and an RG28XX as well, and would really appreciate if you could do the same for their versions. Fortunately they are still on the first 64-bit firmware implementations and nothing is broken yet, but I would like to be prepared to re-flash them if necessary in the future. Anbernic itself does still host every previous version, but the automatic partitioning and custom apps from the modified versions are wonderful and I would not like to lose them
Thank you so much again for your work and consideration!
