Chatbot for Weather Information

Our chatbot will answer the users´ questions regarding the latest weather information.

• Our system is built upon 3 major building blocks: Chatbot, NLP-Pipeline and a ML-model
• For the Frontend, we will use the Discord interface which we will connect with our NLP Pipeline and the trained model
• The model should recognize a variety of different intents such as (Greetings, Goodbyes, current weather, forecasts, questions regarding rain, snow and sun...)
• The code will be produced in Google Colab and VSC
• We will use a wheater API in order to get the latest weather information of the location at stake

Update vom 20.12.2021:

• Discord Bot eingerichtet
• Intent Classification und Entity Recognition implementiert (bisher 9 Intents)
• API-Call Funktionen für die Wetter-Abfragen implementiert

Nächste Schritte:

• Trainingsdatensatz erweitern, um die intent classification weiter zu verbessern
• Weitere Intents hinzufügen
• Entity Recognition optimieren
