option for numeric inline citations #26

Should this be controlled by a toggle in advance, like set_format("numeric"), that changes something in an options environment, or simply a different function call?

I vote for a toggle in advance, because people are not likely to be mixing different citation types. At least for pure citations, anyways.

Has there been any progress in getting the numeric citation feature implemented?

In the new pandoc mode (#57), this is now addressed by your choice of CSL (obviously).

Should be able to add this to the native options next without too much trouble.
