How to enable this plugin in my deadbeef. #10

I am sorry for such a simple question that I can't open the spectrum window. This plugin can be found in my deadbeef's plugin list, however, after restarting, there is still no spectrum window. How can I open spectrum window in my deadbeef?

Hi,

you have to use the design mode of deadbeef to add the musical spectrum plugin to your layout. It works like that:

Enable the design mode (View -> Design mode). Now right click on the playlist, it becomes blue and a menu pops up. Choose "Replace with..." -> Splitter (top and bottom). Instead of the playlist you get two panes where you can put new widgets in. E.g. right click in the top pane, choose Replace with... -> "Playlist with tabs" and in the bottom pane Replace with... -> Musical Spectrum.

You can create all sorts of layouts with the design mode. You can also pack widgets in tabs, or boxes instead of splitters. Just remember to disable Design mode when you're done.

Oh and when you right click on the splitter you can also lock its movement.
