* Can you use any of the media player gadgets for Google Desktop? 
* Is the file you selected in the options dialog available?
* Do you have your volume loud enough and not muted?

Yesterday it didn't work at all.  Today it seems to be working fine. Maybe the 
reboot
fixed the problem.
