Gmail Icon - shows wrong number of emails

Which gadget does this problem concern?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I logged on my first Gmail email account.
2. I logged on my second Gmail email account.
3. I logged on back tomy first Gmail email account.
4. I see unreaded emails for both my Gmail email accounts

...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to see only unreaded emails of my current email account.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest 1.6.0

Which version of Google Desktop are you running and which language version 
of Google Desktop is installed? (You can find the version by clicking the 
downward arrow on top of your sidebar and clicking About...)
Google Desktop 5.8.0808.21323-en-pb - Windows XP Pro US

Please provide any additional information below. If you see visual issues 
please attach a screenshot to this issue.

Are you using Internet Explorer and are you logged into an account in Internet
Explorer ? If yes, does the problem still exist if you log out of your GMail 
account
in Internet Explorer.

No. I am not using Internet Explorer.
I am Google fan, that is why I use Google Chrome (1.0.154.48).
