Marcus: Please have a look in the admin section of the website to see how translations are now being handled in Mezzanine. When you are comfortable with it, please start working your way through each page on the site and drop in the translated text. Note that you can paste in the HTML from Joomla, or... if you are feeling ambitious... you can re-write everything using MarkDown. Depending on the complexity of things like tables, the quick copy HTML route will likely be faster, but there are some legacy issues in the HTML code that will also need to be cleaned..... so it's ultimately your call.
