Not necessarily an issue, but you might want to warn users who rapidly reload/refresh threads/pages, or have the thread updater set to a very low interval http://a.pomf.se/wktync.mp4 Maybe just prevent people from hammering r/the refresh keybind, and if it's being hammered, limit/cancel input, or just give a warning.

I assume you have the Optional Increase thing turned on?

Anyway, I don't think it makes sense for manual refreshes to cause an increase, so I'll be fixing that.

Nope, I have optional increase turned off. I think 4chan's JSON API limits you/slows you down after a certain point, but I'm not sure.

Can you check that you didn't turn it on by accident? The countdown timer value is set by 4chan X, not by 4chan, and it shouldn't ever be higher than your interval setting unless you have Optional Increase turned on.
