"captcha mistyped or malfunctioned" error - can't post #1768

Submitter: anonymous With "captcha fixes" and "force noscript captcha" enabled I cannot leave replies - getting messages "you mistyped the captcha or captcha malfunctioned". Chromium 63, Tampermonkey, latest version from https://github.com/ccd0/4chan-x/raw/beta/builds/4chan-X.user.js

Oddly enough, if I disable "captcha fixes" and paste the captcha code manually in the box, I'm still getting this error.

Additional info: got uMatrix with all possible domains allowed (except for adware shit: amgload, piguiqproxy, adglare)

If you disable 4chan X and Javascript, can you post from the form at the top of the page? It should require copying a code.

@ccd0 which domains should I block js on?

Disabled 4chan x, blocked JS from gstatic and google.com in uMatrix, captcha does not show up at all.

boards.4chan.org should be enough, but this might not work properly if you're using an extension to block JS; turn it off in Chromium's settings.

Also, before that, you might want to try disabling any other extensions you have other than 4chan X to check for a conflict.

Is all I'm getting with JS from boards.4chan.org blocked.

Well, there are no other addons that could possibly intervene.

That's the post form at the top of the page? No 4chan X enabled? If so, it means you're blocked on 4chan or Google's end (probably Google's). It happens sometimes. Sometimes it clears up after a while, but you never know.

@ccd0 thanks. That's weird, though. Because I can post on 4chan with default javascript recaptcha, it doesn't work only with the noscript captcha.

@ccd0 do you mean it could be that noscript captcha is blocked for me on 4chan? But why isn't js captcha blocked, then?

You'd have to ask Google.

Also, make sure you're not blocking the referrer, because that has been known to mess it up.
