Couldn't reproduce. What browser / Greasemonkey / 4chan X versions are you using? Can you export and post your settings (or check whether it happens with the default ones)? Also, by saying you checked your other addons and extensions, do you mean that you confirmed that this happens with all other add-ons / extensions / web filters turned off? If not, can you check that?
Here's my settings as they were while I had the problem. http://a.pomf.se/tuecbu.json Other info: Firefox version 33.1 Greasemonkey version 2.3 4chan X version 1.9.14.2 After resetting defaults the problem seems to have stopped. EDIT: just updated firefox to version 34.0 and imported my old settings EDIT2: just did another round of addon disables and the problem persisted with my old settings. EDIT3: I reset the defaults yet again and this time manually changed the settings one at a time. Currently no problems.
Looks like enabling "auto scroll" in the Updater causes something similar to this. The updater stops working after loading new posts.
How to reproduce:
Firefox 34. Greasemonkey 2.3
I couldn't reproduce posts not being added, but there was a bug that was causing various things not to be updated, including the thread stats. That one should be fixed as of 1.9.14.6+ / 1.9.15.6+, but let me know if you're still having the problem.
I stopped having the issue as of v1.9.15.0, though I'm not sure if it was the update or simply doing a fresh install for the Nth time.
At any rate it's been over a week with no issues so you can consider this closed I think.
Posting seems a lot more responsive now. :+1:
I'm having a problem where the thread updater doesn't load the fetched posts. Once it detects new posts it'll show them as fetched but won't load them automatically. It does however load the posts if I click the "update now" button on the hovering updater.
I've checked my other addons and extensions and nothing appears to be wrong, so I'm suspecting it has something to do with the downtime last night.
