Feature request: Reencode images #2562

Some android clients do this. Basically, when you select an image, have it converted into another format. Commonly, posting PNG images often hit the filesize limit, if there was an option for automatically converting it to JPEG (and maybe a resize option as well) that would save me from pasting the image into paint and saving it as a jpeg. More and more screenshots are from high resolution displays and use PNG as the format, which in most cases hits the image limit. I'm not sure if it's feasible to do this in the browser, but I figure i request it anyways.
