Hidden threads don't stay hidden #3425

Not much more to add. They just come back. I'm on Win 10, Firefox 119.0.1 and TamperMonkey 5.0.0.

I am also having storage inconsistencies for a week now. My own posts aren't staying marked, watched threads aren't registering etc. I will try migrating my 4chan-x to violentmonkey for a few days to see if the new tampermonkey major update is the reason for these issues.

Filters I write don't always save. I can create a new filter in my list, close the popup, and the next time I open the settings window, it's just not there. But for both these issues, it only happens sometimes - not every time.

Yeah, same here.

I've also noticed storage problems on firefox 121.0 and tampermonkey 5.0 for a few weeks now. things like removing threads from the watcher or clearing notifications about replies don't seem to sync between tabs

After moving 4chan-x to violentmonkey (no other scripts there) I am not having any problems as of now.

Also I did a little testing yesterday and switched 4chan-x back to tampermonkey for a while. Not sure if this is caused by the same bug but most of my tampermonkey data (all script storage data and all extension settings) were randomly deleted by a random bug soon after I did that. Only the scripts themselves stayed which might be on a different database.
I had to restore my tampermonkey data from my hourly firefox profile restic backups.

I can also confirm that moving 4chanx to violentmonkey has fixed the storage problems. seems to be that something broke when tampermonkey went to 5.0

I moved the script back to Tampermonkey and looks like the problem was fixed. Although I am using 4chan-xt now so that might be a factor or not.
