Unnecessary spaces after Devanagari words #55

Devanagari words are followed by a blank which is unnecessary if the word is followed by a ), , or many other punctuation characters. There are exceptions such as ( in which case a blank space between the Devanagari word and ( is required.

thus (from monier ambA)

should be

f. N. of दुर्गा (the wife of शिव) (monier at page 83,2)

same issue exists in pwg:

additional case – blanks around a devanagari word:

agninagksatra

In this case there are blanks before and after a Devanagari word, not sure how this relates to the other cases. (This is a choice environment, maybe that contributes to it.)
