I'm not sure this is feasible, but i have a suggestion for the arrows on the torquoise spinboxes.
The spin boxes themselves have a curved left edge which looks rather decent. If the arrow buttons were the same background, with torquoise arrows in the foreground, and the right hand edges of the buttons corresponded with the curved shape of the left edge of the spinbox, then i think this might look pretty smart. So it would look like the spinboxes were curved nicely at either end, and the arrows looked like they were "inside" the spinbox.
