Choose what key/scale that you're currently working in in the perfomer #98

A nice feature would be to be able to choose what key/scale you're currently working in, in the performer. This would then grey out (but not disable) the notes that aren't in that particular key and scale. Seq24 has this, I believe they only have major/minor scales though, but that would be enough here too I believe.

supposed to be for the wishlist, but I couldn't figure out how to tag it

can you explain why this is needed?

zth commented 12 years ago

To ease composing for those that don't know what notes are in the scale right off the bat. I for one am a guitarplayer originally and know very little of the piano even though I use it alot. For me, being able to set a key and a scale as guidance would be a great help in composing.

you see this pretty nicely in non-sequencer
