Winetricks cannot get vcrun6 from Microsoft

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run winetricks vcrun6
2. get a 404 error
3. investigate and file issue

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
VCrun6redist_enu.exe should be retrieved from Microsoft and msvcp60.dll 
extracted for use.
Instead the url 
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vc60pro/update/1/w9xnt4/en-us/vc6redistse
tup_enu.exe gets rejected as a 404.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 0.0+20120308 on Kubuntu 12.04

To research I went to the Microsoft site to check myself and it is indeed 
missing there. Looking through some tutorials on the MSDN they seem to point to 
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vc60pro/Update/1/W9XNT4/EN-US/VC6RedistSe
tup_enu.exe which has a slightly different spelling than the one used in the 
Winetricks script. However that yields a 404 as well. 
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259403 lists an alternative to the above URLS 
with 
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vc60pro/Update/2/W9XNT4/EN-US/VC6RedistSe
tup_deu.exe which does exist. If there are no major techinical hurdles perhaps 
this could be used while the correct _enu.exe url is tracked down.

Confirming, the english version seems offline, pointing to the german version.

If that doesn't work out, we may have to point at a non-canonical mirror.

Support for NT4 ended in 2006, so yeah, it's not unlikely that particular file 
will stay gone.

Found that the german one works

tup_deu.exe.  

For any newbie like me, use winebottler to run the downloaded executeable 
VC6RUNRedistSetup.   Select the location user/library/caches/winetricks/vc6run 
(which exists but failed before) and install.  Bingo, after this I am able to 
install irfanview selecting the vc6run module.   Took me hours to understand 
and get to.

This has been fixed for days now, and the fix was even released two days ago :-)

You must be using an obsolete version of winetricls.
